Windies set to play Pakistan

West Indies will play their first day-night Test against Pakistan in the United Arabia States later this month.

The teams will play three Tests, three One-day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals between Sept. 23 and Nov. 3.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement it will host its first day / night Test match from Oct. 13-17, to be played with the pink ball under lights at the Dubai Cricket Stadium.

Despite playing all their matches in the neutral venues of the UAE, Pakistan rose to No.1 in the Test rankings last month after drawing their four-match series against England 2-2.

Australia hosted the first-ever day / night Tests at Adelaide against New Zealand in November last year, and it drew huge crowds who were able to attend the game after work.
