Assembly William Scarborough announced the Second Annual One In A Million Essay Contest for fathers who actively participate in the educational & developmental life of a child. Hundreds of volunteers are needed on Saturday, 5/14, at 9:00 a.m. to place American flags at the graves of 4,500 Civil War veterans & Sunday, 5/29 at 9:00 a.m. to place luminary candles next to each of the flags at Historic Green-Wood Cemetery commemorating the 150 anniversary of the start of the Civil War.
