West Indies Women cricketers are fighting for a win in the current ICC 50-over World Cup campaign in England.
In their opening match they were defeated by eight wickets to reigning champions Australia Women last week at Taunton and a few days later they lost to India at the same venue.
The losing finalists from the last 50-overs World Cup and the reigning Twenty20 World Cup champions now face the prospect of not making the semi-finals.

South Africa leg-spinner Dane van Niekerk took four wickets for no runs off 3.2 overs. In reply, South Africa scored 51 for no loss off 6.2 overs to win the match. Captain Stafanie Taylor, who along with Deandra Dottin celebrated their l00 ODI career last week, said the form of the senior players needed to improve if the team is to turn around its fortunes.
