West Indies Women made a clean sweep of the three-match Twenty20 series against Sri Lanka at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua last week.

Right-hander Deandra Dottin smashed 112 runs off 67 deliveries, including nine fours and five sixes to become the first player to score two T20 Internationals hundreds in her career, following her maiden one several years ago during the Twenty20 World Cup in the Caribbean.

The Barbadian century was also her second of the year, coming on the heels of her unbeaten l04 against Pakistan in the Women’s 50-overs World Cup last July.

She was voted Player-of-the Match.

Dottin got support from Haley Matthews who struck 34 from 40 balls at the top order as the Windies Women made 159 off their 20 overs.

In reply, Sri Lanka could only manage 128 for five off their 20 overs despite half centuries from wicketkeeper Rebecca Vandort (50) and Shahikala Siriwardene (50).

Matthews claimed four for 18 from four overs with her off-spin.

The series sweep came after their 3-0 whitewash in the ICC Women Championship ODIs two weeks before.
