Jamaica and Haiti were booted out from World Cup contention after losses in their penultimate matches of CONCACAF qualifying at separate venues recently.
The Jamaicans World Cup dream were dashed after a crushing two-nil loss to Panama at the Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City, while Haiti hopes crumbled with a one-nil loss at the hands of Costa Rica at the Sade Sylvio Cator in Port-au-Prince.
Panama, who have l0 points, join group leaders Costa Rica (13 points) as the two teams advanced from the group to the final round of CONCACAF qualifying.
Meanwhile Trinidad and Tobago Soca Warriors advanced to the final round of the CONCACAF Zone 2018 World Cup qualifying competition when they drew with Guatemala in Group C at the Hasley Crawford Stadium, in Port of Spain last Friday night in.
With the draw T&T moved to 11 points, one more than the United States, who had crushed St. Vincent and the Grenadines (6-0) earlier to book their place in the next phase with one match left in this round.
