Fidelis Care, a statewide health plan with over 1.3 million members, opened its Jamaica Community Office located at 146-01 Jamaica Ave. in Queens on Friday, Oct. 16.

Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local dignitaries, neighbors were invited to enjoy refreshments, giveaways, and entertainment from a local radio station.

Staffed with Fidelis Care representatives that speak several languages (English, Spanish, Hindi, Urdu, and Gujarati), the 800-square-foot community office is a one-stop shop where neighbors can obtain information about health insurance coverage and learn about Fidelis Care products.

“As a mission-based organization, our goal is to ensure we deliver excellent customer service and access to quality, affordable health care,” said Fidelis Care Chief Marketing Officer Pamela Hassen. “Our new Jamaica Community Office will not only allow us to provide our members and other residents with personal one-on-one time, it will also be a central hub for neighbors to attend workshops and events with community partners.”

The Fidelis Care Jamaica Community Office will be open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 5 pm.
