The Quest Recital & Awards Celebration was a huge success! Every Quest participant received an award, picture and a certificate from Borough President Marty Markowitz. In addition, Ade Abney received a laptop to assist him as he begins Morehouse College in the Fall.
City Council member Al Vann and the candidate for the City Council position Robert E. Cornegy Jr. attended the event.
Advisory Board members Omo Holloway contributed to the success of the event; Stacey Brewer for scheduling the talented Hollie Wood as the guest artist and Mario Ford who sang along with the band on “We Fall Down” by Donnie McClurkin – such an emotional experience.
The fall program will begin again on Oct. 5, 2013. During the summer, there will be continued development of the board of directors & we will interview future advisory board members.
