India’s star batsman Sachin Tendulkar will retire from Test cricket after he plays his 200th Test in November against the West Indies. This would be the second Test match, which is scheduled to begin Nov. 14 in Tendulkar’s hometown, Mumbai.

The West Indies series in India comprises two Test matches and three One-Day internationals. At the end of the second Test match, Tendulkar will end his 24-year international career. He retired from One-Day International cricket in 2012. He has the most Test centuries and the most One-Day International centuries. He has been playing cricket since 11 years old.

BOTH INDIA AND WINDIES ARE STRONG

India and the West Indies are getting together their best final 11 for the Test series but the Indian team will be more experienced and has a solid home court advantage. The India squad always play well at home in front of their crowds. Opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan has been a sensation over the past years. He has scored heavily and he likes the way the West Indies team bowls.

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar and Ravindra Jadeja are all super batsmen particularly scoring heavy against the West Indies. Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni Quite understand his players and their in depth qualities as captain of india he has been very successful. Ravindra jadeja, the all rounder, Ravichandran Ashwin, the spinner and Virat Kohli, the batsman are the key threat to the West Indies.

GAYLE, SAMUELS AND CHANDERPAUL MUST BOOST THE RUNS

Senior West Indies players will have to play a pivotal role if the team intends to win the two Test matches against India. Opener Chris Gayle who is accustomed to the condition in India, must play a guiding role with the bat. Marlon Samuels will have to perform at his best and Shivnarine Chanderpaul is expected to play his type of cricket, which is, batting for long spells at the wicket.

It is going to be two tough Test matches for the West Indies but the squad chosen has the players with the capabilities to do well. However, I give team India the edge.
