CANA to present its new executive

The Caribbean American Netball Association in partnership with LIME will be showcasing its new executive body during a news conference on May 12 at the St. Lucia House at 6:00 p.m.

The new executive will outline its new ideas and visions for the 2012 netball season and beyond. Their duties include running the USA’s largest netball league.CANA has 25 clubs under its umbrella.

The association’s sponsors, clubs and media representatives are expected to attend the news conference.

With the increase female participation in the sport and the growing number of clubs joining the association, CANA is in a strong position to aide in the establishment of netball in schools and community based organizations, throughout Brooklyn, and the other boroughs/counties in New York State.

The CANA 2012 Netball Season, which will mark the 16th anniversary of this Premier League begins on June 2 at Lincoln Terrace Park, Brooklyn, N.Y.
