CHAMPION TIGERS

When two undefeated teams collide in any sports something must give.

This is just what recently happened in the championship game of the Public Schools Athletic League at, of all places, Yankee Stadium.

The Tigers of Fort Hamilton High School and Railsplitters of Lincoln, not too far away from each other in Brooklyn, went into the final game with identical 12-0 records, including nine straight wins during the regular season in the fall. The first-and-second seeded teams battled it out for the bragging rights of the borough in the most important game of the year.
