Sparks of imagination with Skippyjon Jones

BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center presents Skippyjon Jones on Sunday, June 3 at 3:00 p.m. A TheatreworksUSA, production, Skippyjon Jones brings all the “cat gone dog” fun into the arts center with wild imagination and canine fighting spirit—a musical thrill for the fantasy-loving child in us all.

Skippyjon Jones is a little kitten with big ears and even bigger dreams. Sometimes he pretends to be a bird, a llama, or a whale … anything BUT a Siamese cat. When his mom sends him to his room to think about behaving like the cat he really is, Skippyjon’s wild imagination takes over and he envisions himself as a Chihuahua. Things get serious when the local pack of Chihuahuas is terrorized by a bully and Skippyjon has to choose between being a “fraidy-cat” or the “top dog.” This enchanting musical is about unleashing your powerful imagination and following your dreams. Suitable for children ages 4 to 8.
