Food: y Alexandra Simon One of Bronx’s popular Jamaican-American restaurants reopened last month and debuted a new look. Founded in 1990, the Dumpling Cove restaurant — known for its dumplings and fish meals recently transformed from a takeout spot, to a dine-in restaurant. This change has been in the works for a long time, mostly to create a more customer friendly atmosphere and to satisfy more menu choices, said the founder of the restaurant. Comment

Bronx: It was a day of pride and pageantry at the 6th annual Harlem Derby, “stylish and stunning” everywhere you looked, was the theme of the day. Mint Julep’s, tasty hors d’oeuvres and good vibes flowed freely, as we listen to Blues, Jazz and Soul by Choclattjared & The Swagga Band who played at the bar of the Red Rooster Restaurant while down stairs in Ginny’s Supper Club The Waiters of Happyness Band performed.
