Brooklyn: Caribbean American Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke says she and her Democratic colleagues in the US House of Representatives and the Senate are doing everything in their power to fight the “racist and inhumane” immigration policies of the Trump administration. “As we are all aware, this administration has attacked the hard-working immigrants in our communities here in Brooklyn and throughout our nation,” said Clarke, the daughter of Jamaican immigrants, in addressing a town hall meeting Tuesday night at Brooklyn College, City University of New York (CUNY).
