This special exhibition explores the full tyrannosaur story with life-sized reconstructions at various life stages, real fossils and casts, large-scale video projections, hands-on interactives and an exhilarating virtual reality experience that lets visitors work in a group to assemble a T. rex skeleton.

A roaring good time is back at the Bronx Zoo! Take the biggest, most realistic dinosaur ride in America to see 40 life-size animatronic dinos. Learn about species such as T-Rex and Spinosaurus and connections between animals at the zoo and their prehistoric predecessors. Plus, visit the fossil dig area, take photos and more.

Learn about the native plants of Brazil and become inspired plant lovers and designer-artists like Burle Marx. In the Children’s Adventure Garden, kids can pot up a fantastic philodendron plant and design a playful sculpture inspired by the bold colors and geometric shapes used by Marx.

Visit the Edible Academy to learn about, smell and touch sweet and savory herbs and leafy greens. Explore how these delicious edible leaves are used in all parts of our daily lives, then mix and make your own take-home packet of salad dressing.

Get moving to the sounds of Greek music courtesy of renowned bouzouki player Kostas Psarros. Take part in traditional group dances, do a craft and meet the artists during this evening of fun.

Theater of War Productions fuses a dramatic reading of the Greek tragedy by Sophocles with live choral music performed by activists, police officers, youth, and concerned citizens from Ferguson and New York City. Followed by a discussion of racialized violence, structural oppression, misogyny, and social justice.
