The three-day National Symposium on Solutions to End Youth Homelessness unites more than 700 leaders from nonprofit, government, academia, the private sector, and young people who have been homelessness to develop solutions for vulnerable youth in the area of housing, services, and care. As part of the World Pride celebrations, 50 local and international artists have been selected to create murals around the five boroughs in an effort to “reflect the honor, beauty, struggle, and strides” of the LGBTQ community. In this exhibition, see Don Freeman’s wonderful interpretations of the city through drawings, paintings, publications and prints, plus enjoy his original studies and sketches of Corduroy and other characters.
