New Yorkers can expect an unforgettable Mother’s Day Weekend with R&B hit-makers Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and “GUY” on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden.

For one night only, these Grammy Award winning, BET Award honorees, Billboard Chart topping artists will perform hit after hit to their fans. This Mother’s Day Concert will be one for the books as these Grammy Award winners and legendary performers – Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and “Guy” will bring the house down.

“Babyface” has garnered many titles over the years: a prolific hit maker/producer, superstar recording artist, and revolutionary label owner. The 10-time Grammy winner with 11 solo albums of his own, Edmonds’ impeccably crafted explorations of love, romance and relationships and have made an indelible imprint on the evolution of contemporary pop music throughout the world. Edmonds keeps adding milestone after milestone to a legacy that seems to have no threshold or peak in sight. He is currently in the studio working on new material for his next solo album.

“GUY” was formed in Harlem, N.Y. in 1987. The group consisted of: singer-songwriters Teddy Riley, Timmy Gatling and Aaron Hall. They are known for having a massive impact and seminal influence on the formation of contemporary R&B, hip-hop, soul and pop since the 1980’s. With their smooth groove, “GUY” is ready to thrill audiences worldwide.

The renowned and newly renovated theater at Madison Square Garden seating capacity is 5,600. This fully appointed theatrical venue, serves as a perfect setting for such a concert. It gives the fans and artist a chance to connect and become intimate with each other. The venue is known for hosting legendary concerts of all genres of music, from Hip-hop to Country music. Showcasing the smooth sounds of R&B, Jazz, Funk from the 80’s & 90’s, and, “New Jack Swing” a sound created by Teddy Riley of Guy.
