‘Jamaican Mafia’ to stream on web on Black Friday

Anticipation is growing for the Black Friday release of the action, gangster film “Jamaican Mafia.” Slated to open at Carib 5 Theater in Kingston, the film will simultaneously host a global premiere on the worldwide web on Nov. 27, the day after Thanksgiving when Americans annually swarm into stores in search of bargains.

Jamerican Productions and Elique Media Group made the announcement saying the launch will mark the widest release ever for a Caribbean movie.

“Not only are we excited to be finally releasing ‘Jamaican Mafia’ globally in record-setting fashion, we are delighted to be partnering with Elique Media Group who knows exactly how to market a film like ‘Jamaican Mafia,’” Dale Foti, chief executive officer of JAmerican Productions said.

Described as “the most entertaining and anticipated gangster-thriller since ‘Goodfellas’” through the use of the worldwide web the film will have a global audience.

The collaboration ensures that they will provide “audiences with the sharpest, brightest, clearest and most vivid digital images with superb audio quality.”

Potential viewers are able to purchase fame-watch digi cards, visa gift cards or use their debit or credit cards and log onto www.fame.watch in order to watch the movie. for a nominal fee.

The partnership also maintains that they have made “significant investment to develop the www.fame.watch platform, which will host the movie on an amazon.com supported server that allows millions of people to stream ‘Jamaican Mafia’ on smart-TVs, smart-phones, tablets, iPads etc. without any crashing or buffering.”
