Go Untamed! for J’ouvert 2017

A biker from the section “The Notorious Road Warriors.”

After an excitingly successful band launch last month, Roy Pierre & Associates, 16-time J’ouvert winners, the carnival group that in 2016 brought you the revolutionary production “Havana Nights,” is this year inviting revellers to be part of “UNTAMED!,” an irreverent, unconventional presentation for J’ouvert 2017. With sections ranging from the Primitive / Tribal to Road Warriors to Earth People and Native Americans, the band will be celebrating the spirit of resistance of those who challenge the status quo, in favor of seeking the freedom road. Join a section, or feel free to create a character in keeping with the theme. Let your creative spirit fly. Pictures are on display nightly at the mas camp on 204 Parkside Ave., between Flatbush and Ocean avenues (opposite subway station), open from Aug. 1 to Labor Day, 6 pm to 1 am. For further information, call 718 282 1229 or 718 462 5164. Join the band in another winning spectacle!
