Our health system is proud to join the national awareness campaign to celebrate June 19th as World Sickle Cell Day. In the United States alone, Sickle Cell Disease affects approximately 100,000 people and the Sickle Cell Trait affects millions of people worldwide. As the largest sickle cell care provider in the nation, we’re committed to providing an education, information and assistance to the communities we serve.
