Jamaican speed star, Usain Bolt, who won the IAAF World Athlete of the Year award six times, has not been included in the 10-men shortlist for this year’s prize.

Bolt is the only sprinter to capture the l00 and 200-meter track titles at three consecutive Olympics, He retired after this year’s World Championships in London.

The Jamaican holds the world record of 9.58 seconds in the 100 and 19.9 in the 200 meter.

Bolt, who finished a third-place in the l00 meter, ended his last race in anguish after an injured hamstring caused him to pull up while anchoring Jamaica’s 4×100 meter relay.
