Bahamaian pastor to speak at youth revival

The Bethany Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Westbury, will welcome a wide-cross section of youth, when the house of worship hosts a youth revival from Thursday, May 4, to 6, themed “Purpose for a Purpose” at the sanctuary, 962 Prospect Ave., Westury, Long Island.

Ms. Beryl R. Williams, communications director, said the revival is schedule for Sabbath, May 6 and will include a Divine Worship from 11 am to 1:30 pm, a youth seminar from 4 to 6 pm, and a ‘Church of Laughs” program from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Williams, a Guyanese-born, and long-standing members of the church, noted that the revival would feature inspiring messages, fellowship and music by Bethany’s Teen Praise Team.

Bethany SDA Church, a member of the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, and a member of the World-wide body, will welcome dynamic speaker Pastor Ricardo V. Bain, DMin to the revival. A native of Nassau, Bahamas, Pastor Bain is an author and expert in the personal and spiritual development of youth. He will bring inspiring messages to the youth presentation.

“We invite all young people in the Westbury and the surrounding areas to attend this free, life-changing event,” said Reginald Guerrier, Bethany’s pastor.

“Our church is full of vibrant youth who believe that God has a purpose for their lives. We look forward to helping the young and young-at-heart to find their unique purpose,” said Pastor Guerrier.
