India has the cricketers to participate meaningfully and gain success internationally but the selectors have to first select the best team for each respective format.
Opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan has been failing for much too long and he has caused havoc for his team. He scored a century and a half century in the fourth and fifth One-Day International, but that was when India had already lost the series. This should be India’s One-Day squad with batting order.

Rahane creates stability and support for the team at the top of the order and he is ably supported by Pujara, Kohli, Dhoni and the sensational Pandey who just scored a century and won the MVP in the last ODI despite Australia winning 4 – 1.
INDIA BOWLING
Spinners Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadega along with the fast bowlers Umesh Yadav, Inshant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah, this squad should be excellent.
