Celebrate Caribbean Week

Dear New York: get ready for Caribbean Week 2015.

Our beloved city will be over run with a week of events from daily chef presentations to the highly anticipated Rum and Rhythm Benefit and Auction.

During the week of June 1-7, the Caribbean Tourism Organization will take over the city with events highlighting tourism, investment and business opportunities in the Caribbean.

This year’s weeklong celebration will feature Caribbean chefs showing off their culinary skills and secrets during daily exhibitions at various locations through the Celebrity Chef Program. Another highlight is the Caribbean Diaspora Forum, which will create a bridge between government officials representing the region with Caribbean New Yorkers.

The week will wrap with the Rum and Rhythm Benefit and Auction where attendees will sample award-winning Caribbean rums, mingle with Caribbean personalities and more. This event serves as the CTO’s signature fundraiser raising funds to help students in the region.
