Miss Guyana World to appear in N.Y.

Miss Guyana World 2012 Arti Cameron is set to make yet another public appearance in New York City—this time at the launch party of the JRG Bikini Under the Bridge Fashion Show.

This red carpet event is the first in a series of fashion events leading up to the much anticipated Bikini Under the Bridge 2012 swimsuit fashion extravaganza to be held on July 14.

The launch party is set for Saturday, March 31 at the Sheraton Brooklyn Hotel and the reigning Miss Guyana World will face the media and interact with friends, fans, and family wearing a stunning outfit by COLEFACTS by Michelle Cole.

Part proceeds from tickets sold by Miss Cameron will go towards her preparation for Miss World 2012.

This Saturday, the reigning queen will share the spotlight with 15 other swimwear models from Russia, England, Jamaica, Haiti, and the United States, among others.

In February 2012, Miss Cameron made her New York modeling debut when she hit the runway in the PLITZS New York City Fashion Week. This event was held at the Warwick Hotel in mid Manhattan where Miss Cameron made several appearances over two days and walked for six different designers.

The reigning queen will represent Guyana at Miss World 2012 to be held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China on Aug. 14.
