Great family fun for the community

Citizens for A Better Community celebrated its funfilled 11th annual Family Day on Saturday, Aug. 13 at Paerdegat Park. Great weather, delicious free food and drinks. Sports, rides, clowns, ponies, talent show and live entertainment made the day! Music provided by DJ Madd Fyre and Sweet Sounds Matthew.

Community service scholarships were awarded to Ast Shango and Ariel Ashby.

Special thanks to Health First and Visiting Nurses. Health First provided sponsorship of the stage.

The children were busy all day as the parents enjoyed the festivities. A great time was had by all and it was a great day for the community.
