Major label recording artist/guitarist Fredrix...LIVEnDIRECT! will officially launch his 2011 summer tour by giving an encore performance at Brooklyn’s own Micro Museum as one of the museum’s featured performers in their one-day music festival and art show “Music Made Easy” on June 4 at 7.00 p.m..
His seventh solo summer tour of the East Coast entitled “The World Can’t Wait,” promises to not only be exciting, but also challenging due to vast amount of new venues, lounges and restaurants which have opened since last summer - especially in his most favorite borough Brooklyn, New York.
With 200 shows to his credit last year, a short stint on tour with mega-musician and rapper Ryan Leslie and Jay-Z protégé J Cole, Fredrix continues to reinvent himself while still making strides in the music business under his own terms.
A consistent fixture on the New York studio scene, guitarist, songwriter, composer and most recently a music life coach, Fredrix continues pushing the limit with his original music he is dubbed “REBELJAZZ,” a slick combo of rock, hiphop, jazz, alternative and even reggae all mixed together.
He is currently in the studio mastering two new CD s - one a more psychedelic, trippy CD entitled “From The Other Side” (Part 1) and the long awaited CD of songs featuring Fredrix on vocals, “Love Songs and Other…” comprised of what he calls “urban rock,” hiphop, reggae and of course his signature “rebeljazz,” both being released on FSE/Rebeljazz Records Universal.
Fredrix has always loved working with art galleries- especially his favorite curators Kathleen and William Laziza, founders of the Micro Museum and stable mates for some 20 plus years.
Always known for his HI NRG, nonstop three-hour shows, look for Fredrix to expand his shows along the East Coast, performing at venues and events of every description from lounges, restaurants, art galleries, culinary events, salons, spas and anywhere where audiences gather.
The Brooklyn’s Micro Museum is located at 123 Smith St. Take the F&G train to Bergen St.
