Del.icio.usA group of scholar athletes were honored recently by Brooklyn U.S.A. Athletic Association, Inc. for their contributions to the world of sports and to the community at large.
At the organization’s 37th Anniversary Celebration and 31st Annual Awards Dinner Dance, chairman Hank Whitney congratulated this year’s honorees and said the occasion afforded his group the opportunity to renew old friendships and make new ones.
“We, the members of Brooklyn U.S.A. Athletic Association, Inc. thank you for the support you have afforded us over the years,” Whitney told the honorees. “It is occasions such as this that we tend to cherish,” Whitney added.
“Our success over the years has been the result of your support and we truly hope that it will continue. We are only as successful as you make us.”
