Tropical Paradise Ballroom continues its tradition of stylish entertainment packaging for New Year’s Eve with veteran soca stars Baron and Sugar Aloes as the headliners in a gala celebration. Lambert & the Matadors Orchestra will be in the entertainment lineup as well.
The Tropical Paradise Ballroom has quickly become one of the more desirable venues serving Central Brooklyn and beyond. This commitment to have a “touch of class” glow surround an event is even more fastidiously observed when what’s being offered happens to be the management’s very own production. “We’re very particular that outside promotions be a good fit with our facility,” said owner-operator Davis Gayle. “It’s important that we always aim for the very highest standards when it’s our production.”
The upcoming New Year’s Eve bash will be no exception. Tropical Paradise will be welcoming attendees with all the celebratory trappings associated with ringing in the New Year, including complimentary champagne for a midnight toast.
Dinner, which is included in the advance ticket price, will feature all the fine Caribbean cuisine specialties.
In Baron and Sugar Aloes, the management has come up with a dynamic pairing of the cream of the soca crop – two popular, time-tested artists whose styles are a perfect match with the laid-back, romantic ambience of New Year’s Eve.
Baron’s extensive string of hits includes several that have entered the pantheon of soca classics, such as “Sweet Soca Man,” “Somebody,” “Tell Me Why,” “Say Say” and “Trouble.” Two-time calypso monarch Sugar Aloes has generated great fan appeal over the years on the strength of party hits like “Rock To Soca,” “I Love Being Me” and “Fete.”
Coupled with Lambert & the Matadors and deejay Madman Maddy, Baron and Sugar Aloes at the top of the bill ensure a non-stop musical treat for the special evening. And with the needs of the palate addressed as only Tropical Paradise can, Dec. 31 promises to be a celebration to be long remembered.
